Outreach is
important to our life of faith at Saint Luke. Catholic Christians
are people who are called by their baptism to live, work, encourage one
another and pray together for the sake of building the Reign of God.
We do our
best to participate in that work, beautifully expressed in the
Beatitudes, as we reach out in various ways to serve the sick, the
troubled and those who are in need, both as individuals and in more
organized ways. We seek also to grow in our understanding and
appreciation for the faith traditions of others and to work
collaboratively with them in reaching out in service to the people of
the towns in which we live.
We also find
opportunities to reach out to one another as fellow parishioners that we
may come to know one another and enjoy one another's company.
